Scalp micro pigmentation or a hair transplant?
Why not both?
Scalp micropigmentation can be used after a hair transplant to cover the scars from the donor area or even create more density to the donor site. They don’t have to be looked at as one or the other. To create the fullest-looking head of hair, it is beneficial to have both procedures done. It is best to wait one year after a hair transplant before starting the SMP process. During the year after a hair transplant, your head is still healing, and your hair is still growing. Once a year hits, you’ll have a better idea of what you need from the SMP side to complete the look.
